Llais is an independent body that was set up by the Welsh Government to give the people of Wales a stronger voice in their health and social care services.

We represent your views on health and social care in Wales making sure that we listen, working with NHS bodies, Welsh Local Authorities, and others to shape and improve services for everyone.

We are here to help and provide advice for anyone that has feedback on health and social care in Wales and to support you to make complaints if things go wrong.

Llais would like to hear about the care you received from Swansea Bay University Health Board (SBUHB) maternity services throughout your pregnancy and afterwards:

• the care you received;

• how you felt you were treated; and

• your overall experience in using the services

By sharing your experience you will help us to understand:

• what went well

• what didn’t go well

We will use what you tell us to inform the independent maternity services review that is currently taking place and to make representations to the Health Board to drive learning and improvement.

How long it will take you to complete this survey will depend on how much you want to tell us.

This survey will be open until 16/10/2024

This research is anonymous, so if you complete the survey, no one will know. We are not taking any details from you that can identify you. We will need to make sure that if you are answering the survey on behalf of someone else that they have given you their consent to do so.

If you need support to help you complete this form, please contact: maternityexperience@llaiscymru.org

Want to tell us more?

If you want to tell us more, or prefer to speak to us than complete this survey, we will also be hosting interviews and focus groups. There is space at the end of the survey to leave contact details if you would like to do this.
